The Transcend 800 range has been shipping to customers since the beginning of 2010 and can deliver up to 400Mbps across a single point-to-point microwave link via a single indoor unit, or 800Mbps in coupled mode. That data can be multiplexed from a series of data interfaces, now including DVB-ASI. The unit also incorporates a powerful Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet Switch and Layer 3 Gigabit Router for IP (Internet Protocol) traffic. Transcend 800 automatically adjusts coding and modulation rates, using its "True ACM" technology, to match changing environmental conditions without any payload error. This allows for sustained availability at overall higher capacity.
